QR Codes
Every shortlink in Attri can have a QR code. Toggle it on in the link builder and the QR code is generated automatically, pointing to your short URL. No extra steps.
Enabling a QR code
Section titled “Enabling a QR code”- Open the link builder (create or edit a shortlink)
- In the right sidebar, toggle QR Code on
- Save the link
The QR code encodes your shortlink URL, so all tracking parameters, geo-targeting rules, and analytics still apply when someone scans it. You’re getting the same data whether someone clicks or scans.
Where to use QR codes
Section titled “Where to use QR codes”QR codes work well anywhere you’ve got a physical surface and want trackable engagement:
- Print materials (flyers, posters, business cards)
- Product packaging
- Event signage
- Presentations and slide decks
- In-store displays
We’ve personally tested scanning across a dozen devices and camera apps. They resolve fast (the Cloudflare edge redirect helps there, since the QR just points to your shortlink).
- QR codes are available on all plans
- The QR code updates automatically if you change the shortlink’s slug or domain
- QR codes resolve through the same edge redirect as regular link clicks, so geo-targeting and password protection still apply
- If you’re printing at large scale, download the QR at the highest resolution available to avoid pixelation
