Sharing a Dashboard
Some people need to see the numbers without needing an Attri login. A client checking on their campaign. A stakeholder who asks every Monday. A “we’re transparent about our traffic” page.
The public dashboard is a read-only copy of your Site analytics, reachable by an unguessable link.
Turning it on
Section titled “Turning it on”Settings → General → Public dashboard → Enable sharing. You get a link like app.attri.io/share/Yo1fkd…. Copy it, send it, embed it in a wiki.
Available on every plan.
What people see
Section titled “What people see”The same Site view you see, minus the controls:
- Unique visitors, pageviews, views per visit, bounce rate, and visit duration, with the change versus the previous period
- The timeseries chart for whichever of those they click
- Top pages, top sources, countries, and devices
- A range switcher for the last 7, 30, or 90 days
What they don’t see: your links, form submissions, conversion goals, filters, or anything under Settings. The workspace name is shown in the header. Nothing else identifies your account.
Rotating and disabling
Section titled “Rotating and disabling”Rotate link mints a new token. Every copy of the old link stops working immediately. Use it when a link got forwarded further than you intended.
Disable turns sharing off. The page returns a 404 until you enable it again (which gives you a new link).
Plan for it
Section titled “Plan for it”The shared page counts toward nothing on your plan. Views of it don’t create events, and it reads the same aggregated data your own dashboard does.
If the workspace is archived or deleted, its shared dashboard goes away with it.
