Ask Your Assistant What to Fix on Your Site This Week

Attri is now in Claude's directory and ChatGPT's plugin directory. Ask which search changes are worth making, and get an answer ranked by the visits each one could move.

Search Console will tell you a page earned 30,096 impressions last month at a 0.4% click-through rate. It won't tell you whether that page is the one to fix first, or whether the people who do click ever book anything. Answering that usually means two exports, a VLOOKUP and an afternoon. (We know. We've built that spreadsheet.)

Attri already does that join. Now you can ask for it in plain English, in the assistant you have open anyway.

As of this week, Attri is listed in Claude's directory, as a connector and as a plugin, and in ChatGPT's plugin directory. Connect it, pick the workspaces your assistant may see, and ask what to fix.

What a session looks like

Here's a real exchange from our own directory testing. We ran it against Brightpath Tours, the demo workspace we built for reviewers. It's a fictional Japan tour company with 90 days of synthetic traffic and Search Console data, shaped so every kind of finding shows up. Every assistant reads the same findings, so the answers line up across them.

The question was "What should I fix on the site first?"

The answer led with the Kyoto walking tour page. It ranks at position 6.8 and earns 0.4% of its impressions as clicks, where a page in that spot should get about 4%. Attri puts the gap at roughly 1,091 visits a month. The fix is a title and description that lead with the query people actually type.

Then it flagged a drop. Clicks for "cherry blossom tour 2026" fell from 107 to 8 in a week, while the average position barely moved, 4.9 to 4.8. The assistant's read: that's not a ranking problem. Fewer people are searching, or the results page changed. Don't rewrite the post before checking what's on page one now.

One detail we didn't expect. The Kyoto finding was already marked as planned, and the assistant said so instead of handing the same task back as if it were new. Small thing. It's also exactly what a good analyst would do.

Why the ranking matters more than the data

Plenty of tools will show you queries and positions. Ahrefs and Semrush will tell you where you rank down to the decimal. Neither one knows whether the visitors from that ranking booked anything, and that's the part that decides what's worth fixing.

So the hard part isn't the data. It's picking the three changes worth doing this week.

Attri ranks every finding by the visits the change could move, then weights that by what the page's search visitors already do: sessions, how long they read, whether they convert. A page that ranks 11th for a query with real buying intent can outrank a page sitting 9th for something nobody acts on. That's the order the assistant works in, because it's the order the findings come in.

The five kinds it looks for:

  • CTR gaps. Good position, too few clicks. Usually a title problem.
  • Pages to update. Sitting on page two for queries the page could own.
  • Cannibalization. Two of your pages splitting the same query, so neither ranks well.
  • Drops. Clicks fell sharply. Attri checks whether position moved too.
  • Rising queries. Climbing on their own. The advice is to leave them alone (which is harder than it sounds when a query is finally moving).

What else you can ask

The same connection reaches the rest of your workspace. Which short links drove signups last month. Where the visitors who converted came from. Which outbound links people click. You don't need to know which report holds the answer.

It also knows what it can't see. We asked about Google Ads spend while testing, half expecting a made-up figure. It said Attri doesn't hold ad data and left it there. Honestly? That answer made us trust the rest more.

What it can and can't change

By default the assistant only reads. On the consent screen you can also let it create tracked short links and mark findings as planned, done or dismissed. Planning a finding sends it to your Slack or webhook channel if you've set one up, so "plan the top two" turns into tasks where your team already works.

It can't delete anything. Not a link, not a finding. It only sees the workspaces you ticked, checked again on every request, and you can disconnect it from your profile at any time.

Where it works

Claude and ChatGPT are live today. In Claude that covers claude.ai, the desktop and mobile apps, and Claude Code. In both, the plugin adds two skills that walk the findings in order and run a weekly review. Grok and Cursor listings are in review. Until they're live, any assistant that accepts a custom MCP server can connect to https://app.attri.io/mcp.

Setup for each one is on the assistants docs page.

Start with the question we started with. "What should I fix on my site first?" If the first answer is a title tag, you'll have shipped it before lunch.
